1- Valid and signed Passport
The passport expiration date must be greater than six (6) months (from the date of entry in Brazil); Passport must have a minimum of two (2) completed blank visa pages (side by side) to stamp the visa, remember any page who doesn’t say VISAS is not a page for visa, it is for something else and it will not be accepted ( maybe it was accepted in the past but they won’t accept anymore), if your Passport does not meet the requirements, click here for Passport expedite service prior to obtaining the visa.

Note 1A: Since the visa to brazil is a document attached to one or two of the pages in your passport, it can be one of the following:   a) Full color ink stamp.   b)  A paper stamp/sticker.  c)  , so yes you must send your original passport in order to get your visa in your passport, because the Brazilian Consulate or Embassy will not give a visa without the passport.

Note 1B: If you ever had a Brazilian passport and/or Brazilian birth certificate issued by any Brazilian official and/or not official authority in or out of Brazil in any Brazilian Consulate Embassy anywhere in the world, in order to get your visa you must prove that you lost and/or gave up your Brazilian citizenship (using only the U.S. naturalization certificate may not be enough. Note1C: A child of one or two Brazilian-Citizen born in American-Territory do have the right for a double Citizenship American and Brazilian this service is free of charge at the Consulate/Embassy (the Brazilian citizen mother or father of the minor go alone to the consulate/ embassy holding a self Brazilian photo identification and bring the minor original birth certificate)






2- One (1) Brazil Visa Application Form

Please click here to fill the New Online Visa to Brazil request form is the unique way to get a visa to Brazil, please fill out all pages online in order to generate your visa request number, print out the visa request number page with the barcodes and sign inside the lower rectangle without touching the boards, please. We must submit your application within 30 days from the first time that you filled your application online, otherwise it won’t be valid anymore, the system will automatic erase and you will need to restart from the begin again.

Note 2A: After you open the link above choose VISA REQUEST on the left side and then in the new page where it says MAIN PURPOSE OF YOUR TRIP choose TOURISM and go to the next question, read the pages and keep going until you finish, in case the page gets too slow try to fill out the form in the late night time, it may be better.

Note 2B: It’s very important to understand, the new visa request website answers visas request from all countries, so sometimes it gets very busy and gets stuck or crash, so please be patient and as soon you finish right down your application number and print this page and the next one, and send both pages to us together with the others request below.

Note 2C: In case you have any update to make to the application please don’t try to make online after you already sent the package to us because if the website crashes  at the moment you may lose your application and will need to send another one and that means you will have to pay more money to FedEx/UPS and delay the processing time, so the best way to update your application after you sent to us would be sending the alteration to us by email (GOTOBRA@HOTMAIL.COM with the applicant name and visa request number) and we will do the update inside the consulate/embassy in a safe way, with their own network and custody.

Note 2D: Please make sure that  you sign this visa form with the signature identical as possible  to the  signature that you have in your passport (Consulate/Embassy may refuse and/or delay to give any visa for those who signatures doesn’t match). In case your name changed please send a clean and certificated copy of the official papers.




3- Photograph
You must provide one (1) front face, recent (2” x 2”) photo U.S. Passport type, remember the new application request process is done by a computer using face Biometric identity technology to analyzing the match of the photographs provided by you, so if the computer does not recognize the match between the photo in your passport and the photo in your visa request because of poor quality of the photo or whatever reason, the photo will be denied and the application will also be denied, and we will not know that until 2 to 7 business days after the application request has been submitted, so in order to avoid delays and extra expenses please be very careful and neat with you photo even if you don’t want to. Ps.: Please try to avoid Polaroid photos.

Note 3A: Yes we can print your photo here for an additional $10.00 for Setup, Adjustments and Printing FEE per/pair of Photo please add this amount to your total fees. Note: Photo must be high resolution 300dpi minimum, clear, provide proper contrast, white background and quality in order to be accepted by the consulate, please check the guide above and please send the photo to GOTOBRA@HOTMAIL.COM with the applicant name and visa request number (and yes we will tell you by email if the photo is good enough before we print).




4- Proof of Jurisdiction/Residence
Please send an understandable and visible copy of your Driver’s License; we must be able to see your face clearly.

Note 4A: Consulate will not Accept Driver’s License copy by Fax.




5-Proof of travel
Please send a legible copy of your: itinerary reservation, electronic ticket or round-trip ticket. Please make sure the copy is good and provide: traveler name, (total amount paid or confirmation number), (at least one traveler personal info like address or email or phone number).

Note 5A:Consulate may ask to a digital copy of your itinerary as prove of veracity so please if is possible forward to us at (gotobra@hotmail.com) any email that you may have of your itinerary.

Note 5B:Remember your First entry in Brazil must be within 7 months of visa issuance date, after you get the visa you MUST make your first travel to Brazil within 7 months of, if you don't travel to Brazil within 7 months of visa issuance date, your visa will be automatic declined and you will need to issue a new one in order to travel to Brazil. (So please do not send your visa application in a period greater than 7 months of from the date of your entry in Brazil). 

Note 5C:In case you didn’t get your ticket yet or your ticket it doesn’t match the above specifications, please give us a call we will be glad to provide you one. For an Additional of $10.00 Reservation FEE. Just put in a piece of paper the date you intend to arrive in Brazil, your destination in Brazil after you arrive there and the date that you intend to depart from Brazil and to where, based on this information we will prove your travel itinerary to the consulate for you can get your visa.

 

6-Vaccination Information
Applicants who have visited any of the following countries within 90 days prior to the trip are required to present a good copy of valid International Yellow Fever vaccination certificate:

Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guyana, Venezuela, Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Sudan.

Note 6A: The Brazilian Government Strongly Encourage all travelers of all ages since six (6) months of age to get an anti-Yellow Fever vaccination prior to departure to Brazil for they own safety and protection.
Note 6B: In case you don’t have the anti-Yellow Fever vaccination, please give us a call and we may be able to help you.

 


7- Only for Minors:
Minors (under 18 years of age) need notarized copy of birth certificate, and parents (mother and father as show in the minor birth certificate) LETTER OF AUTHORIZATION to travel to Brazil alone or in company of any adult; signed and notarized by both parents and/or guardians (signatures must be notarized by the public notary) (in case of guardians please send a notarized copy or original of the guardian release court papers where it must say that the guardian(s) do have authority to travel with and/or send this minor to and out of United States).

Note 7A: For Minors (under 18 years of age), Brazilian citizens or born in any Brazilian jurisdiction, please provide a notarized letter stat saying that: the child (full name as appear in the birth certificate and passport number with issue and expiration dates) has never been registered as a Brazilian citizen in any Brazilian official and/or has not official authority in or out of Brazil in any Brazilian Consulate or Embassy in any place in the world, neither has had a Brazilian passport previously. Please, note that Brazilian citizens must travel to Brazil with a Brazilian passport. (Ex: Brazilian citizens bearing an American and/or any other Passport that has renounced the Brazilian citizenship must present proof of that; a citizenship certificate of the actual country will not be enough, the consulate will ask for a notarized copy of the cancelamento de registro como nacional brasileiro(a) publicado no Diário Oficial da Uniao com o seu nome e datado / cancelation of the Brazilian citizenship published at the Diario Oficial da União in Brazil with you name on and dated and/or a copy of the header and embossed letter signed and dated by the president of Brazil or the consul/ambassador of Brazil at that time).

Note 7B:
Please do not send any visa application for minors before calling us ph: 786-333-9176, Consulate is very strictly and delicate with visa application for minors, that means minor’s visa application may delay a little bit.

Note 7C: For children under 7 years of age, a copy of International certificate of vaccination against POLIO is required.





8- Only for Non US Passport Holders:
Please provide (1) Good Quality, Full Understandable, Both Sides Notarized Copy (except if one of the sides are completely blank)  of the Green Card, work permit and/or Copy of any Other U.S. Official Document that proves your Legal Status in This Country.

Note 8A: Remember all original (not notarized) documentation that you may send to us we will return for you with your passport.





9- Consulate Tourist Visa Fee:
Consulate fees for U.S. passport holders $160.00 in US Postal money order only payable to the Consulate of Brazil by you or by us.

Note 9A: For those living in U.S. and holding a U.S. Green Card and requesting a tourist visa holding a passport and/or travel documents from those nations bellow please add on the top of the service a fee of $40.00 because of the multiple trips that we will be need to do in order to request and get answers between the consulate and the client in most of the time those visas get delayed, please be advised.

Plus any Additional $25.00communication charge for transmission of visa request to Brazil is required by the consulate, for those living with legal immigration status in U.S. but not have a green card yet, in most of the cases those visas are granted for a short period of time or denied, please be advised.

List of Countries: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bhutan, Central African Republic, China, Comoros Island, Croatia, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kampuchea, Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Nigeria, North Korea, Palestinian Auth., Pakistan, Russia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, and Swaziland. (This list is always moving for more or less nations because of an international political matter).


In case you have a driver’s license from any of these states (Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming) that means your belong to the jurisdiction of the general consulate of brazil in California, AND YES WE CAN DO THE VISA SERVICE FOR YOU but because of the situation at the consulate in California we only can offer these services:

URGENT Service Fee - $69.00 (5 Business Days processing time - not included back and forward courier time from client). (This service is under high demand please call for viability before sending your visa application).

Note 10A: In case you need your visa faster than the above options, please give us a call; we may be able to help you.
Note10B:Business Days to process the application/s means application/s in our hands before 9:00 AM eastern standard time.

Note 10B: applications delivered to our hands after 9:00 AM eastern standard time will not be processed until the next Business Day.

Note 10C: applications sent to us as UPS early A.M. or FedEx First Overnight may arrive before office hours in order to not lose the delivery, we strongly recommend that you choose in the package (no signature required) and please write with a black mark - big letters around the package (please slide the package under the door in case no one is there to sign).

Yes we do accept your own return package, we just charge$5.00 for Handling Fee and that is the only one way we do that (1- No Post Office service 2- do not put our address on the sender, make the label from yourself to yourself 3- make the label online if possible or if by hand, fill all spaces and make all choices  4- we will assume no responsibility at all for this service, the Handling Fee for $5.00 that we charge is just to put your passport on the labeled envelope provided by you and deliver to the next drop off box location 5- any returned package that doesn’t mach those 5 steps will not be used please be advised)

Note 11A: We do not accept any return envelope from any courier with C.O.D. (Collect On Delivery) Label.

Note 11B:
Please put in a piece of paper with a understandable hand written or computer tipped the address  you want us to return your passport back to you, your email and the best number to contact you. (Ps.: Remember, a missed call may delay your application for at least 24hrs, so please give us a number that we can find you in order to don’t let that happen.)    

Note 11C:
We do not have any supply at all from UPS (United Parcel Service) so in case you choose to have your passport returned to you by UPS please be advised to provide your own and prepaid completed return supply (and $5.00 Handling Fee).

Note 11D: We do not check the Postal Mail on a daily basis, so if you are sending your passport by USPS (United States Postal Service) with (delivery confirmation and/or signature requested) or not, still have a good chance that your application may get delayed.

Note 11E:
Sorry we DO NOT return passport(s) and/or any docs by USPS (United States Postal Service) Please do not insist. 

Note 11F: All of our shipping returns are included (Signature Required on Delivery) except if this service is not standard-offered by the courier company, WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to do the same.

Note 11G: FedEx no longer require a signature on deliveries to residential address. Unless you feel comfortable with this policy, WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to use your business address for return shipping.





12- Payment method:

We only accept payments by US Postal Money Order and/or Credit Cards Amex/Master-Card/Visa.

Note 12A:
The Consulate visa fee must be paid by a US Postal Money Order only and payable to Consulate of Brazil the consulate will not accept any other payment besides US Postal Money Order.

Note 12B:
Yes you can write the total fees together including the Consulate visa fee in only one: U.S. Postal Money Order, or Credit Card payable to: SOUTHRIVER INTL INC. We will split the payment in order to process the client’s visa service under the client’s service choices from this page (and we will buy the postal money order to pay the consulate for your visa request).

Note 12C: We do not accept any payment provided by the following: Personal Check, Company Check, Cashier Check and Non US Postal Money Order.

Note 12D:
All Credit Card payments are subject to a $5.00 or 5% fee whichever is greater on the top of the total amount for merchant processing charges. (Ps.: Credit card must belong to the visa applicant otherwise please send a clean copy the both sides credit card and the credit card holder driver’s license both sides for signature identification)

This form is very important in order to well represent the client, it gives to us the official authority to apply answer and retrieve client’s passport and/or paper work before any Consulate/Embassy of Brazil in United States.

Note 13B:
This form is one of the new requests made by some Consulate authorities and they may not issue client visa without this form, please read carefully, print, fill and sign this form and send to us with the other papers. (Ps.: In case this is a visa application for a minor (under 18 years of age) please both parents must notarize signatures, please follow the form indications.)
